Low impact living is reducing your impact on the environment and Earth's natural resources as much as possible, from where you buy your food, to how you get your energy, to where your waste goes. Circular economics is the idea that what we use and consume should be shared, repaired, reused and recycled for as long as possible. Vanlife is no new movement. Our ancestors have lived on the road in one form or another for generations. At Evergreen Campers, we believe it is fundamental to protect the choice of this lifestyle and to encourage the benefits.

OUR STORY

Evergreen Campers was born from a desire to dream

We began our journey by buying a van and converting it into our full time home. As soon as it was completed in May 2021 we moved in. It has been an experience that has changed our perspective on "the right way" to live.

We met at Falmouth University where we studied Fine Art. When back home with our families after returning from Cornwall, we decided we wanted to move in together. However the reality of renting a home was, in our eyes, not the right use of our money. So we decided to convert our van into a full time, liveable space, kitted out with a kitchen, shower, solar electric setup and a log burner to keep us warm through winter.

We have been captivated by our new lifestyle and the many wonderful people in the community who join and inspire our dream. Evergreen Campers was born from a desire to build on this dream, a desire to inspire others and to deliver the reality that van dwelling is an option.

We are here to push for change, to pledge an alliance to nomadic culture and to inspire your dreams.

At Evergreen Campers our cornerstone when designing and building campervans is sustainability. Whether that is cladding our walls and building cabinets from reclaimed wood and furniture, installing off-grid solar technologies, or building chemical free, composting toilet solutions, we are here to create your dreamy eco warrior of a campervan.
